Hey, hi, howdy! I'm SnooDoodle. That's "snood" and "doodle" shoved together - because I like being warm and scribbling art!
I'm in my 20's, go by he/they and am an LGBT+ Scottish artist. I'm a big fan of video-games, cartoons and nature. I only know how to fluently speak English but I have some French knowledge from childhood.

I dabble in traditional and digital art. It's mostly pencil to paper (or pen to tablet) illustrations but I'll try anything out at least once! These days I'm drawing and designing original work for the most part: since my focus in the past several years has been making characters and monsters. I cherish being able to draw monsters because my passion for creatures bolsters my love of fantasy creatures too, allowing me to base my designs off of the characteristics of real-world animals and imagine them with the looser rules that fantasy settings allow for. Like golem cats, animatronic tigers and solar-powered owls.

Fantasy also allows you to explore things like relationship dynamics and identity in a safe place that you have full control over. One of the fun things about making lots of your own characters is putting them in a sandbox and watching how they get on. Many of them have humanoid designs. Some are pretty fish with paws, bird-like cyclops with a big fluffy tail, demon imps or big-eared clowns. I tend to start out with a design first and build on their character traits afterwards.

Animals are a big special interest for me but birds and fish especially so. I'm a regular birdwatcher and get cuteness-aggression seeing how tiny and adorable even things like the common house-sparrow are. My favorite bird in this country is the jackdaw (a medium-sized member of the corvid family) because they're cheeky, beautiful birds with lovely clear eyes and a wit as sharp as their beaks. Also they sound like little squeaky toys, what's not to love.

I enjoy RPGs and JRPGs, platformers, monster-collecting, puzzles, adventure, casual and strategy, simulator games. I can't promise I'll be good at the games I play but I'll try, damnit! I'm always up to try something I'm unfamiliar with. I also like to play games with folks (collaboratively or competitively). :)
